Authentic Gallurese Stazzo from 1905 with land

For those seeking a holiday home in Sardinia amidst nature, yet wanting beaches, shops and restaurants within a few minutes drive, this authentic 1905 Gallurese Stazzo is certainly worth discovering.

The property is located in rural Santa Teresa Gallura, in the province of Sassari, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and approximately 3.2 hectares of private land.

You will find no holiday complexes or neighbouring terraced villas here. The environment is defined by nature, granite rocks, mature trees and Mediterranean scrubland with open views over the Gallurese landscape towards the sea.

Despite its peaceful location, the property is not completely isolated. Porto Pozzo, Rena Majore, Santa Teresa Gallura, shops, pharmacies, restaurants and the sea are only a few minutes drive away.

The main house is an authentic Gallurese Stazzo built in 1905, renovated in 1990 while preserving the simple character of traditional rural homes in this part of Sardinia. In front of the house is a large covered veranda – a space that will likely become one of the most frequently used areas of the property for much of the year.

A short distance from the main house is a second detached building with an area of approximately 37 m², completely renovated in 2020. Its striking natural stone facade reflects the traditional architecture of Gallurese and blends beautifully with the original Stazzo. Inside, the building is arranged with a living area and kitchenette, bathroom and a space currently used for sleeping. It is important to note that this second building is recorded in the cadastral records as "magazzino", a storage building, and is therefore offered in accordance with its current cadastral designation.

The property includes approximately 32,000 m² of land. Both buildings are surrounded by nature, outside the typical residential development common in many coastal holiday areas. Most of the land retains the natural appearance of the Gallurese landscape with Mediterranean vegetation, trees, rocks and open spaces. The property also has its own well. From various points on the land, views open out over the surrounding landscape towards the sea.

Because this is a rural property, the final section of the access road is unpaved. However, a 4×4 vehicle is not required for normal use of the area.
