About the project
The Canopies is the first residential project in the new waterfront district Yas Point on the northern edge of Yas Island by developer Aldar. Six low-rise buildings will offer a total of 592 apartments and more than 10,000 m² of landscaped outdoor spaces arranged around a central park that connects buildings, gardens, and communal areas into a single pedestrian-friendly environment.
The location on the quieter northern side of the island offers waterfront living, yet is only minutes away from the island's most famous attractions such as Yas Mall, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Yas Marina Circuit and Yas Links golf course.
The new Yas Point district will include a public beach, a marina with yacht club, restaurants, shops, parks and pedestrian and cycling paths, including a waterfront promenade approximately 700 meters long.
