Rifugio in Gallura, Casteddu - Padru

Property for those who dream of a different life

Some properties are purchased as investments. Others become holiday homes. And then there are places we choose because at a certain point in life we begin to crave something different – a slower pace, fresh air, and a more authentic way of living. This property belongs to this exceptional category.

It is located in the locality of Casteddu, near Biasì, in the municipality of Padru, in the heart of the authentic Gallura region. The last two kilometers are via an unpaved country road that winds between cork oaks, Mediterranean vegetation, and beautiful open countryside.

The property spans approximately 10,000 m² of fully fenced and well-maintained land. Part of the land is adorned with beautiful cork oaks, while the remaining area offers plenty of space for relaxation, gardening, or simply enjoying the outdoor environment year-round.

The property was designed to be completely self-sufficient. Water is supplied from a private well connected to a storage tank that ensures daily water consumption. Electricity is generated using a photovoltaic solar system with battery storage.

There is already a construction project in place that allows for the building of a main residential house of approximately 100 m² together with an outbuilding of approximately 50 m². The foundation slab for the future main house is already completed.

The outbuilding is finished and today fully usable. It offers a central kitchen/living area with two external entrances, along with two bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. It provides comfortable accommodation for immediate use of the property or temporary living during the completion of the future main house.

The entire project has so far been managed by a surveyor who knows every detail of the construction and can continue to assist the future owner should they decide to complete the main house. Permits have been renewed, so the project can proceed with certainty.

The surroundings are appreciated by people who love rural life, nature, and outdoor activities. In the vicinity, there are several traditional agritourism facilities offering excellent Sardinian cuisine and a pleasant atmosphere. You will also find a trap shooting range here, and the area is well-known among hunting enthusiasts.
